This no-bake Chocolate Dipped Honeycomb recipe is great to do with kids and will please all age groups once made.
2 tablespoons honey
50g caster sugar
3/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
350g Firetree Philippines 73% cocoa chocolate
1 Line a large baking tin with parchment paper.
2 Warm the honey and caster sugar in a large saucepan, until an amber caramel forms.
3 Quickly stir in the bicarbonate of soda and keep stirring. The mixture will bubble up like foam. Immediately remove from the heat and tip into the lined tin. Leave to set for at least 6 hours.
4 Place the chocolate in a saucepan and heat over a low heat, stirring often, until melted.
5 Break up the honeycomb into shards. Dip the pieces of honeycomb into the pool of molten chocolate and lay on to parchment paper to set and cool. Devour.
